How are your journaling skills, do you do lots, just the basics, sometimes overload?

I actually enjoy journaling because I like telling the story behind the pictures. What I don't like is my handwriting!!

I usually do mostly basics, with a little detail as well... however, if it's an event/picture that really means a lot to me I will go in more deeply.

Depends on the subject of the layout. Sometimes there is none needed, sometimes just names and dates, sometimes a whole story.

Totally depends on the photos. Sometimes, I write a book other times, you're lucky I give a LO a title let along journal it. :-)
