How do ya'll organiza your paper, rub ons, stickers, embellies, pens, etc. I am trying to tackle my scrap area so that I can remember what I have so that I can use it all up, but I am at a loss. Call me paralyzed with indecision. Any suggestions would be great. I don't have an entire room, but I have shelves and a desk.

I bought a Clip It Up a couple of years ago and I absolutely LOVE it! I keep all of my rub-ons, alpha stickers, jewels, stickers, etc. on it so they are visible and accessible. I organize my cardstock by color and my patterned paper by manufacturer. I also keep a folder for "new stuff" where I slip in new papers I get and then as that folder starts to fill, I will file away the papers that are left by manufacturer.

While I was with the army I had extremely limited space so I did two things...

1) I took all of the kits and removed the bulky embellishments from them, then printed off the instructions and added them to the large bag. On the bag with a sharpie (or a label), I wrote the month and the number of embellies (Oct 09 - 5 accents) that I took out.

2) I bought a basket and some plain white labels. On the labels I wrote "Oct 09 - 1 of 5" or whatever the month/numbers was and placed the label on the embellie package. Then I placed the embellies together in the basket.

This made it easy to store the kits standing up in a bookshelf and I just put the basket on the shelf next to it. When I was ready to create one of the kits I took it down, pulled the kit, looked for the correct number of embellies and packed it into my crop bag with my class kit... really easy and remarkably organized for someone like me!!

Sorry... I misread the question... I thought you were just asking about kits! For the scraproom I agree with RuthEllen... LOVE the Clip it up!! The other thing I love is cute baskets from Michaels (when they are 40% off!)and then I put a tag on them saying what they have in them (ribbon, pens, stamps, etc) so that they can fit tight on the shelf to maximize space but I can still know what is in them.

great ideas! i have only one thing to add....if i dont use something for a good long while, its gotta get donated. especially if its something nice, cuz the groups/people who get donated stuff, dont usually get something nice. too much stuff and my head starts spinning.

Hi, I am a big fan of Cropper Hopper Products and use almost everything for my storage needs. I also have the two tier Clip It Up. And, I love my QK storage; especially the wooden cabinets and pink tins.
